Absinthe

Absinthium is a 20-proof herbal liqueur. Obtained through the cold maceration of ten different types of aromatic herbs, it is offered as a low-alcohol liqueur in accordance with an Italian tradition dating back to the 1700s, which calls for wormwood to be used at a low alcohol content as an alternative to the high-alcohol absinthe-based drinks used in Northern Europe.
